Selling Online (eCommerce)
www.MapleCityPottery.com is a fine example of a fully equipped eCommerce vendor here.
Our Mall Stores like these do require a high level of hosting. Generally at minimum your plan will need to be equipped with a "static ip" and have access to the root for certificate installation.
Keep in mind ALL of our hosted Mall Stores and even Mall Shops are hosted in a high end hosting premises premise. Not only do we provide our folks with high speed, high quality, highly secured servers inside, the very ground they set on are equally secured.
OK maybe a bit much if all you are hosting is a public community calendar but we strive to be the best and we in turn maintain it on some of the biggest and best hardware on the web. I do & don't you too feel is worth knowing all is well when you go to bed tonight?
If you are on a very tight budget we still have other options available. There are schemes to safely collect credit card info and certainly if you can start out within a PayPal system, we can build or find a tool that will incorporate ecommerce methods without the high cost of dedicated services (until you grow into and can afford that sort of thing without blinking an eye about cost)
I will point out www.SweetsUniqueFakeFoods.com as a solution where most customers of those wares would rather inquire, then buy. It is ALWAYS how your customers shop and not what we want to push on you that is King of any solution. And with proper effort it is never the "now for something completely different" experience one finds at other checkouts. We take the effort to extend your theme into whatever methodology you are using to conveniently seal the deal and part customers from their money. If we are going to part you from yours you should expect us to make you look as glossy as you are paying for as well right?
